I got to this point but I couldnt kill him , she went too far with that one . The whole train ride she just kept feeling bad about betraying him so even if she was free and healthy could she live with herself knowing I killed Reed for her ? Im sorry I want to live is just not enough , Myers , Hansen , Alex , V , Reed all want to live too . No difference between Myers turning the airport into a bloodbath and her asking me to turn every soldier into dust .

im reading all the comment and people see the ending as "sad". to me i think its a happy ending. as a cybered up killing machine he lost his best friend and died... he then went on violent rampages doing the dirty work of others, peace was always out of reach.. it had to be forced but now he doesnt have any gangs hunting him down, no people compelling him to commit acts of violence and cruelty.. he paid his dues and his past forgiven... thats peace.

I feel like a lot of people are being hard on everyone unfairly, right? Like... here's the thing. V didn't intend to drop off the face of the earth, and I'm 100% sure that if they had had the chance to message everyone and be like "Hey, I might be gone for a bit, you may not hear from me for a while" things woulda been different in some ways. Two years is a long fuckin time, and we can see that literally all of them tried to call V a bunch of times before concluding they were dead... which, y'know, given V's situation is a fair assumption to draw, especially in Night City. Vik is ride or die cuz that's just who he is, but with everyone else... it's not that V never mattered to them, it's that two years is a long time, and they were off living their own stories assuming they wouldn't be a part of yours anymore.

At first I didnt care about Johnny K because I didnt played GTA IV The Lost and Damned. But man... After I played that game... Seeing Johnny dying hits much harder than I thought.

Getting the cure didn’t feel as great when it made me feel alone and sad having lost everything, again.

I bet this type of ending was supposed to be considered the worst (a punishment even) because you choose the easier way out--you get to live but you lost all relationships, respect and honor. Still, being treated like a nobody after all those quests to help these people truly feels like that it wasn't worth at all. Judy, despite being the most wanted romance target (if your V is a fem), practically decides to MARRY another woman 2 years after you went missing, and she doesn't even seem to meet or be happy for meeting you at all. Panam practically ignores that you're alive without even knowing what happened to you. This is either bad writing or those people were truly backstabbers.

I like the quiet life ending. Most people spend their whole lives as nobodies atleast V got his time to shine and now he gets to live a peaceful retirement.

People don't understand that just cause V was in a coma, life doesn't stop for everyone else. People change, people move on.

I know it's sweet that Viktor was there to meet V after all this time but I think that's kinda sad. He's old and was unable to move on even if he wanted to. In all the endings, he's always stuck there in the back alley hoping V will remember him. And after you meet up with him, he's still there but under someone's employment and V is leaving him again. This time, for good. Viktor didn't stay there for anyone. He just couldn't leave. I'm glad Judy's found another life. I'm glad Kerry's still going strong. I'm sad River's in a shitty life. I'm sad Panam couldn't return a call. For River, I think he's got it worse. He's stuck deteriorating in Night City. He may be a good cop and might be a fighter who can probably do some of what V did (Regina level stuff) but he couldn't because he can't take risks that will take him away from the family he has left.

It's this, the suicide, and final heist endings that truly encapsulated V as a person. This is V giving in to fear and just wanting out of it, suicide... Well, yeah, was rough, and the final heist is to put it all on the line for one last shot, to go down in an absolute blaze of glory.

No this is some bs. Aldecaldos ending is absolutely the best one. I like fear the reaper the second best. I feel like v has a chance to find a cure with the nomads and even if not, she will live the rest of her life happy.
